Job summary

Sternberg Automotive Group in Louisville, KY is seeking a Service Advisor Assistant to join our growing team. You will rely on a strong customer service background and solid computer skills to handle scheduling, respond to calls, and write up light maintenance work orders, ensuring smooth daily operations.

You’ll communicate clearly with customers, provide estimates, and help direct inquiries through phone, web, and chat.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word; dual-screen setup preferred.
• Strong customer service background is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and eager to improve.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service appointments and speak with customers; write up light maintenance work orders.
• Actively listen to customers, answer questions, and direct them appropriately.
• Respond quickly to phone calls, online scheduling, and live chat inquiries.
• Advise maintenance recommendations and confirm scheduled/missed appointments.

Responsibilities

Schedule service appointments and speak with customers, write up light maintenance work orders, provide estimates and ASR to customers.

Actively listen to customers, answering their questions, and directing them appropriately as they request

Respond quickly to customer phone calls, internet leads through online scheduling, and live chat inquiries

Advise maintenance recommendations

Confirm scheduled and missed appointments

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Excel and Word (and preferably dual-screen experience)
• Strong customer service background
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Punctual, reliable and eager to improve
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
