Cochran Mercedes Austintown is seeking a Service Advisor to lead the customer experience in the service lane. You will be the first contact, guiding customers through the repair process and coordinating technician scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service within an automotive dealership.
• Proven ability to manage others and lead a team.

• Familiarity with service processes, inspecting vehicle needs, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee flow of Drive Lane, ensuring prompt, courteous service.
• Own the customer experience and complete assignments to leave a positive impression.
• Provide concierge support for owner inquiries, in person or by phone.
• Schedule service appointments using the scheduling system.
• Obtain customer history and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
• Greet customers and collect vehicle information.
• Document customer needs clearly on repair orders.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and other needs.
• Advise customers on car care per manufacturer specs.
• Review Multi-Point Inspection and obtain authorization.
• Communicate progress and changes in estimates or time to customers.

You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and customer service. Responsibilities

• Oversee flow of Drive Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
• Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer.
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person.
• Schedules service appointments utilizing the available scheduling system properly.
• Obtains customer history and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains vehicle information.
• Documents customer's vehicle needs accurately and clearly on repair order.
• Inspects vehicle for damage and other needs.
• Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
• Review Multi-Point Inspection format and ask for authorization.
• Checks on progress towards completion. Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
