Job summary

German Autowerke Inc. in Oceanside, CA, is seeking a Service Advisor to deliver an exceptional customer experience and build lasting relationships with clients.

No automotive experience is required—we will train the right person. You’ll prepare repair estimates, review DVIs, coordinate with technicians, schedule appointments, and help achieve sales and customer-satisfaction goals in a Monday–Friday, no weekends schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience as a service advisor is a plus but not required.
• Strong sales abilities with customer focus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn new software and operate a computer.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

We’re looking for a motivated, customer‑focused Service Advisor who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and wants to build a long‑term career.

Automotive experience is not required—we will train the right person.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience from the moment each customer arrives.
• Build trust and long‑term relationships with customers.
• Prepare repair estimates and explain recommendations clearly and professionally.
• Communicate with technicians to ensure accurate repair recommendations.
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
• Schedule appointments and help manage daily workflow.
• Review Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) and present repair recommendations.
• Help achieve shop sales and customer satisfaction goals while always putting the customer’s best interests first.
