Job summary

Fields BMW of Northfield is seeking a Service Advisor to own the customer experience in the service lane, guiding owners through the repair process and coordinating with technicians. You will be the first point of contact, delivering premium service and building life-long relationships with customers and teammates.

The role welcomes candidates new to automotive service who bring a background in customer service, retail, hospitality or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Oversee flow of Drive Lane and ensure prompt, courteous service.
• Take ownership of the customer experience by executing additional tasks to leave a positive impression.
• Provide concierge support for owner inquiries, in person or by phone.
• Ensure daily technician time is allocated efficiently to service customers.
• Distribute work between technicians to optimize throughput.

As a Service Advisor, you will own our customers’ experience in the service lane. You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and customer service. From greeting vehicle owners on the drive line to explaining the repair process, our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others. We welcome individuals who are new to the automotive industry but with previous roles in customer service, retail sales, restaurant industry or hospitality.

Pay range: $75,000 to $100,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer.
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled
• Ensures that the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.
