Job summary

Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships in Pennsylvania is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team. You will greet customers, document service needs, and coordinate with technicians to diagnose and repair vehicles.

This role emphasizes clear communication to keep customers informed and build lasting relationships. You will work in a full-time capacity with a focus on CSI, maintenance planning, and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a service advisor; dealership experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with customers and manage tasks independently.
• Personable and friendly personality.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• General knowledge of mechanical and service operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them with their service needs and questions.
• Obtain and update necessary vehicle and customer data.
• Perform vehicle walk-around and document customer concerns to set up the technician to diagnose the vehicle and repairs.
• Establish a timeline of repair and keep the customer up to date on progress.
• Communicate with the customer via telephone, email, and/or text message.
• Disclose additional work needed or recommended services and obtain customer signature.
• Advise customer about the value of car maintenance and review future recommended services.
• Build relationship and rapport with the customer to maintain CSI rating.
• Schedule future maintenance appointments.
