Job summary

Cronin CDJR in Ohio is seeking a Service Advisor to own the customer experience in the service lane. You are the first point of contact, well-versed in product offerings, scheduling and customer service.

This role emphasizes building relationships, maintaining standards, updating customers on progress, and supporting technicians while driving service profitability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Accredited training in service advisor skills is required.
• Automotive service advisor experience is preferred.
• Ability to concentrate and accomplish tasks despite interruptions.
• Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers and determine their needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle issues.
• Increase customer satisfaction by building customer relations.
• Maintain the company’s standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service and good employee and community relations.
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and updating customers frequently.
• Increase profitability by maximizing sales and executing retail promotions.
• Oversee technician work, time management, parts ordering, and job completion times.
• Oversee and participate in quality control.
• Participate in development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet with customers and determine their needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle issues
• Increase customer satisfaction by building customer relations.
