Job summary

JX Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Service Advisor in Effingham, IL to deliver exceptional customer service and manage repair orders from scheduling through invoicing. This full-time role emphasizes collaboration, growth, and a customer-focused mindset.

You will work Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, with a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional development within a family-owned, multi-location automotive group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of related automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experience.
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Windows and ability to use business systems.
• Valid driver's license; CDL required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Process all shop repair orders by scheduling and assigning work to shop associates.
• Document and diagnose necessary repairs by taking photographs.
• Communicate with customers and insurance companies to obtain authorization and documentation for repairs.
• Monitor job schedules to ensure timeliness and accurate pricing.
• Complete invoicing and collection procedures in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to deliver positive customer experiences.
• Perform other duties to support business needs.

What You'll Do Day-to-Day (Essential Duties & Responsibilities):

• Process all shop repair orders by scheduling & assigning work to shop Associates.
• Document and diagnose necessary repairs by taking photographs.
• Work closely with communication with customers and insurance companies to obtain necessary authorization and documentation relating to repair work.
• Monitor job schedules to ensure timeliness of repairs and job pricing.
• Complete invoicing and collecting procedures in a timely manner.
• Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers.
• Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business

What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills):

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of related automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Windows. Must possess demonstrated skills in computer-generated business systems.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL required, or ability to obtain.
