Job summary

Allegiance Trucks is seeking a Service Advisor to manage shop workflow, communicate with customers, and coordinate with the service team on parts and repairs. The role requires strong organization, customer focus, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail.
• Customer-focused with strong communication.
• Able to solve complex problems in a fast-paced shop.
• Proficient with computers and shop software preferred.
• Familiarity with auto and trucking industries a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the shop's workflow and schedule.
• Call customers to advise about service changes or delivery times.
• Coordinate with service team on parts ordering and availability.
• Describe symptoms and needed repairs when preparing repair orders.
• Check progress of repairs throughout the day.
• Handle inbound work inquiries and inquiries about in-process work.
• Review orders to ensure completion.
• Assist with additional projects as needed.

Job Responsibilities For Service Advisor

• Managing and overseeing the shop's workflow and schedule.
• Calling customers to advise them about service changes or delivery times.
• Coordinate with service team about parts ordering and ensuring parts are available when needed.
• Prepare repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services require
• Check on progress of repairs throughout the day.
• Handle telephone inquiries regarding inbound work and work in process.
• Review repair orders to ensure that work is completed.
• Assist with other projects as needed
