Blue Compass RV East Montpelier is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team in Vermont. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences while guiding customers through service needs and coordinating with technicians to ensure timely work.

This position offers salary plus commissions with strong earning potential, reflecting a performance-driven environment. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year in service advisory roles, a valid driver's license, and a sales-minded

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of service advisor, automotive, or related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• RV or camping lifestyle experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to navigate service systems and perform internet searches as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers from service check-in through completion.
• Build relationships with customers and identify service needs with a sales-driven approach.
• Provide accurate estimates for repairs and installations prior to scheduling.
• Communicate clearly with technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and timely completion.
• Keep customers informed of repair progress and manage expectations.
• Address customer concerns and escalated situations with professionalism, empathy, and a solution-oriented approach.
• Identify upsell opportunities to maximize service revenue.
• Maintain accurate documentation, work orders, and communication records.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced service environment.

THE ROLE:

The Service Advisor plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experience while driving service department success. This position serves as the primary liaison between customers and technicians ensuring clear communication, accurate service recommendations, and efficient workflow.

We are looking for a sales-minded professional who can confidently guide customers through their service needs, identify additional opportunities, and handle challenging situations with professionalism and care.

This is a salary + commission-based role, offering strong earning potential for individuals who thrive in a performance-driven environment. $60,000-$80,000 average

WHAT YOU’LL DO

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE

• Minimum of 1 year of service advisor, automotive, or related experience preferred
• Previous RV or camping lifestyle experience is a plus
• Automotive or service industry background preferred
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work daily on a computer and perform internet searches as needed
• Valid driver’s license required
