W.W. Williams in Cranston, RI is seeking a Service Advisor to support technicians and help run a profitable service department through efficient staffing, strong customer satisfaction, and cost controls.

This role requires coordinating with customers and shop personnel to ensure work is completed to the customer’s satisfaction. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in heavy-duty dealership or diesel service, plus solid communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualificações

• 3+ years’ experience in heavy duty dealership/diesel service environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates with the customer, either by phone or in person, to determine customer’s concerns, problems or needs - present and future - while maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
• Matches customer needs with W. W. Williams product and service offerings and proposes solutions, maximizing customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.
• Liaison between customers and shop personnel to determine work to be performed, quote prices and credit terms with a high degree of accuracy and obtain customers’ authorization to proceed.
• Stays in close contact with customers during the course of the transaction and documents all communications with the customer including price quotes, authorizations received, payment terms and special customer requests.
• Open and close work orders in a timely manner.
• Verifying equipment's current warranty status with assistance from warranty department.

Service Advisor Opportunity Summary:

As a Service Advisor, you are responsible for supporting technicians and assisting in the operation of managing a profitable service department through productive staffing, strong customer satisfaction, cost controls, setting and meeting objectives with high initiative for change and control of service activity to ensure all work scheduled is performed to the customer's satisfaction.
