Job summary

Trek Store Dublin in Columbus, OH is seeking a Service Technician/Advisor to service bikes, install accessories, and deliver outstanding hospitality to customers. You will troubleshoot repairs on the spot and engage with riders to keep gear running smoothly.

As the face of the department when the Service Manager is away, you will demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, while learning the latest bike technologies and shop practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in bike service or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Strong hospitality and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot bike repairs and service on the spot.
• Install accessories on new bikes and demo products.
• Build relationships with customers and provide excellent service.
• Act as the face of the department when the Service Manager is unavailable.
• Support the Service Manager with daily shop operations.

This job is all about caring for bikes so their owners love riding them. You’ll troubleshoot repairs and service all kinds of bikes on the spot and install the awesome accessories customers select for their new bike! You’ll also be the first to have your hands on brand new models before they hit the sales floor. Most importantly, you’ll build relationships with people who trust you to keep their gear running flawlessly. This role closely supports the Service Manager. When the Service Manager is not available, you are the face of the department to customers.We’re looking for a teammate with stellar customer service chops and a willingness to learn. Because you’ll constantly be speaking with customers to evaluate issues and recommend repairs, we value fantastic hospitality skills above prior shop experience.
