Thys Automotive Family in eastern Iowa is seeking a Service Advisor who excels in customer service, greeting guests warmly and scheduling appointments. You will act as a liaison between customers and service technicians, explain repairs, and help customers feel confident their needs are being met. This role focuses on low-pressure selling and high integrity communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet service department customers promptly and courteously.
• Listen to customers and translate repair needs to techs.
• Educate customers on additional services using low pressure methods.
• Provide accurate repair/maintenance estimates.
• Adhere to policies on vehicle care and operation.
• Follow up on each repair and keep customers informed of progress.
• Inspect repair quality and ensure all work is complete.
• Notify customers when vehicles are ready for pickup.
• Review and explain repairs and costs with customers.
• Handle minor customer concerns and complaints.
• Keep Service Manager informed of problems and potential problems.
• Maintain CSI scores in line with dealership standards.

We need a Service Advisor who is an expert in the art and science of customer service. Must be able to greet guests, schedule appointments and act as a liaison between customers and service techs. • Handle minor customer concerns and complaints
• Keep Service Manager informed of all problems and potential problems
• Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores in accordance with dealership standards
