Department: Shop

Supervisor: Business Development Manager

Essential Job Functions:

1. Promotes Grayson Carter and Son Contracting in a professional manner.
2. Open work orders as directed by the service manager/shop foreman and maintain oversight until closed.
3. Handle all warranty claims including computation of charges, submissions and follow-up.
4. Maintain the service library with information that is current such as manuals, videos, etc.
5. Handle all service department filings and records.
6. Maintain service accessory and supplies inventory and prepare replacement orders for the service manager’s approval.
7. Maintain a high level of quality work at all times.
8. Maintain good relationships with Technicians, Foreman, Superintendents, Inspectors, Developers, and other co-workers at all times.
9. Aid coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift.
10. Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work tasks.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
12. Represent and promote Grayson Carter and Son in a professional and honest manner.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Thorough knowledge of service department accounting.
3. General understanding of mechanical/technical terms.
4. Knowledge of office procedures.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
6. Must be physically able to stand, walk, sit, crouch, kneel, climb, and periodically lift 25 pounds.
7. Ability to obtain Arsenal Badge preferred, but not required.
8. Ability to obtain FBI Badge preferred, but not required.
9. Requires personal transportation to/from work.
10. Work weekends and overtime as needed.
11. Committed to attending work each day.
12. Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
