Job summary

Northbridge Communities is seeking a Server/Waitstaff in Brunswick, Maine for part-time hours (3pm–7pm), with some weekend shifts. You’ll support resident dining, communicate daily menus, and help deliver a warm, memorable dining experience.

You’ll work closely with our culinary team to ensure smooth service, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety standards, while enjoying flexible scheduling and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer-facing experience is welcome but not required; training will be provided.
• Be friendly and approachable to make guests feel welcome.
• Maintain a positive attitude during busy periods to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Be patient and attentive to guests' requests and concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness to keep dining areas safe and tidy.

Responsibilities

• Check dishes look presentable before serving to residents.
• Greet residents warmly, share the daily menu, and ensure satisfaction.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and follow food safety rules.
• Communicate special requests clearly to the kitchen.
• Reset the dining room after meals and maintain a welcoming space.

Server / Waitstaff Job Summary

Your job as a Server / Waitstaff is key in making sure our residents enjoy great service and delicious meals. Working closely with our Culinary Director, you'll help make sure tasty dishes get smoothly from the kitchen to the table.

Responsibilities

• Check that dishes look perfect before giving them to residents.
• Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure they're happy.
• Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe.
• Tell the kitchen about any special requests clearly.
• After each meal, set up the Dining Room again and take pride in how it looks.

Qualifications

• It's cool if you've worked in a restaurant or with customers before, but we'll teach you if you're excited to learn.
• Be friendly and easy to approach to make guests feel welcome.
• Stay positive, especially when it's busy, to keep things happy.
• Be patient and understanding when customers have requests or concerns.
• Notice when things need to be clean, helping keep the dining area tidy and safe.
