Job summary

Kaplan Senior Living in Londonderry, NH is seeking a Part Time Wait Staff member to help create a welcoming dining experience for residents. You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals and keep the dining area comfortable and clean.

Hours run from 6am to 7pm with several days per week, 5–8 hours per day, weekends included. This role supports meaningful daily interactions and teamwork in a climate-controlled setting.

Qualifications

• Friendly, patient and dependable personality.
• Genuine interest in working with older adults.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized in a busy dining environment.
• Previous restaurant or wait staff experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents warmly and provide attentive service.
• Set and prepare dining room tables before meals.
• Help residents find comfortable seating.
• Take meal and beverage orders.
• Explain available menu options when needed.
• Serve meals, beverages, desserts, coffee and tea.
• Refill water and offer additional servings.
• Clear and reset tables between meals.
• Help keep the dining room clean, organized and welcoming.
• Assist in the dish room, including operating the dishwasher and putting away clean dishes.
• Safely store and return walkers and other mobility devices.
• Attend required meetings and in-service training.
• Work cooperatively with residents, families, visitors and coworkers.
• Complete other dining service duties as assigned.

Our Dining Hours are from 6am - 7pm; looking for someone several days per week 5-8 hours per day, weekends included

Compensation: $17.50-18.50 per hour
