Artisanal Brewing Ventures is looking for a Server (Tableside Brand Ambassador) to join our dynamic team in Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and craft beverages, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while serving our drinks and food.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift trays of food weighing up to 20 pounds.

Server (Tableside Brand Ambassador)

Reports to: General Manager or Front of House Manager on duty.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests timely as they are seated at the table; ensure the table is clean and that coasters, utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided.
• Be knowledgeable about and able to answer questions regarding all ABV beverages, menu offerings, brewing/cider making processes.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests, teammates, and management.
• Take food and beverage orders and place orders accurately through the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
• Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to guests’ satisfaction; return incorrect or improperly cooked orders to the kitchen.
• Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to guests.
• Collect plates and clear the table as guests finish their meals.
• Process guest payments by preparing checks and handling transactions through the POS system.
• Assist with other side‑work duties such as cleaning the dining area, preparing silverware and refilling condiments.
• Aid in overall cleanliness and maintenance of the taproom.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Well‑organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
• Strong communication skills and ability to remain composed and respectful under pressure.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Ability to operate the point‑of‑sale system.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 20 pounds.
