Job summary

Viceroy Snowmass is seeking a friendly server to join our team in Snowmass Village, CO. You will work as part of a collaborative team, providing attentive guest service and demonstrating knowledge of menus, wines, and spirits.

The position offers flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays, with competitive pay of $15.16 per hour plus tips. Employment is available as full-time, part-time year-round or seasonal, with start date ASAP and applications accepted until 08/31/2026.

Qualifications

• Must be a team player with a motivated and positive attitude.
• Ability to perform opening and closing side duties.
• Knowledge of wine and spirits is a plus and helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain service standards in all outlets.
• Prepare station and perform assigned opening side duties.
• Handling of and basic preparation of food and beverage.
• Maintain standards of personal grooming.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all menus.
• Safe handling of soiled dishes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of wines and spirits.
• Maintain organization and multi-table guest service.
• Communicate with kitchen during service.
• Keep stations clean and organized.
• Communicate with team during service.
• Perform closing duties and reset for next shift.
• Perform additional duties as requested by management.

About the Role

Duties

• Maintain service standards in all outlets.
• Prepare station and perform assigned opening side duties.
• Handling of and basic preparation of food and beverage.
• Maintain standards of Viceroy’s personal grooming habits.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of all menus.
• Safe handling of soiled dishes.
• Ability to demonstrate basic to advanced knowledge of wines and spirits.
• Ability to maintain organization and strong service while maintaining multiple guest tables.
• Ability to openly communicate respectfully with kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at all service stations.
• Communicate frequently and consistently with other members of the team and other colleagues during service.
• Perform all duties in a professional manner, both when dealing with guests and with other colleagues.
• Practice teamwork when interacting with all departments in the hotel.
• Understand and demonstrate the concept of making customers. Have an awareness of customer problems and potential problems.
• Perform all closing side duties, leaving station clean and set for the next shift.
• Perform additional duties as requested by management.
