Levy, a part of Compass Group USA, is seeking experienced hospitality professionals for The Hand & The Eye in Chicago. Servers will deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced luxury setting, blending refined service with in-depth product knowledge and genuine hospitality.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• 3–5 years of fine dining or luxury hospitality experience.
• Strong knowledge of ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary accommodations.
• Comprehensive understanding of the menu and the inspiration behind each dish.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktails, wine varietals, beer styles, and proper beverage pairings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished demeanor.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining service standards.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays availability.
• Have ServSafe Food Handler & BASSET certifications; or ability to obtain within first week of employment.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an elevated, personalized dining experience from greeting to departure.
• Execute all steps of service with precision and grace.
• Explain ingredients, techniques, and pairings to guests.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer with tailored recommendations.
• Anticipate guest needs to ensure a seamless dining experience.
• Maintain table presentation, timing, and service execution.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Beverage, Guest Relations & Magic teams for smooth service flow.
• Maintain an organized section and workstation in a fast-paced environment.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and hospitality.
• Foster guest relationships to encourage repeat visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of fine dining or luxury hospitality experience
• Strong knowledge of food ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary accommodations
• Comprehensive understanding of the menu, including the inspiration behind each dish
• Extensive knowledge of classic and specialty cocktails, wine varietals, beer styles, and proper beverage pairings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask while maintaining composure and exceptional service standards
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Have valid ServSafe Food Handler & BASSET certifications; or ability to obtain within first week of active employment
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds & stand for extended periods of time
• Experience with Toast POS & 7 Rooms reservation platform a plus!

• Execute all steps of service with precision, consistency, and grace.
• Guide guests through the menu by confidently explaining ingredients, preparation techniques, flavor profiles, and recommended pairings.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer while making thoughtful recommendations tailored to each guest.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to ensure a seamless dining experience.
• Maintain impeccable attention to detail in table presentation, timing, and service execution.
• Coordinate effectively with Culinary, Beverage, Guest Relations & Magic teams to ensure flawless communication and service flow.
• Maintain an organized section and workstation while performing efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and hospitality at all times.
• Foster meaningful guest relationships that encourage repeat visits and lasting impressions.
