Job summary

Compass Group USA, Levy brand, is seeking a Server Assistant to support waitstaff in delivering outstanding guest experiences at our venues in Chicago. You will help keep tables clean, water filled, and service flowing to ensure smooth and prompt service for guests.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Previous experience in hospitality or foodservice (preferred).
• Team-oriented and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables quickly and neatly
• Refill water and assist with beverage service
• Deliver bread, condiments, or side items as needed
• Support servers with pre-bussing and guest requests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations
• Communicate guest needs or issues to servers or supervisors
