Job summary

Summer and Autumn Brunch Cafe in Bergen County is seeking an energetic server to join our morning team. The role offers growth opportunities as you learn to become a barista, work private parties, and take home cash tips at the end of each shift.

You will greet guests, take accurate orders, serve food and drinks with presentation, handle sales transactions, and help maintain sanitation. Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we value friendly service and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not necessary.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and managing tabs confidently.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, offering recommendations and enhancing customer experience.

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated server to join our vibrant Brunch Restaurant in Bergen County. We are looking for someone who is interested growing, learning how to become a barista, work private parties, and take home cash at the end of the day. This role, is perfect for someone who enjoys hospitality and is a morning person. We are open 7 Days a week and we are looking for someone to work Thursdays - Sundays 7:30am-4pm. This paid position also includes cash tips at the end of the shift.. . Responsibilities. . Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, offering recommendations and enhancing customer experience.. Take accurate food and beverage orders.. Serve food, beverages (Matchas, Iced Lattes, etc...) with excellent presentation/. Process sales transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and processing tips accurately. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed.. Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Requirements. . Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not necessary.. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining efficiency during busy hours. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
