Job summary

BrewDog PLC is looking for a Server Assistant to join our team in Ohio. You’ll support servers, help prepare spaces for guests, and ensure a smooth dining experience with friendly, efficient service.

Applicants should be prepared to work flexible shifts, interact with customers, and uphold high standards of cleanliness and hospitality in a fast-paced craft beer environment.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience is a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years old due to alcohol service policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant communication with Servers regarding guest needs and issues.
• Keep table caddies stocked with silverware, napkins, salt and pepper shakers.
• Clear dirty plates, utensils, and glassware from tables as needed.
• Transport dirty tableware to the kitchen area.
• Set up tables for arriving patrons by wiping spills and clearing crumbs.
• Offer water or bottled water to guests as they arrive.
• Deliver food to tables when others are busy.
• Respond to patrons' requests and inform management of complaints.
• Arrange tables and chairs for larger groups.
• Ensure the server station is stocked with necessary restaurant supplies.

Key Skills

• Constant communication with Servers in regard to guests needs and issues
• Making sure table caddies are fully stocked with silverware, napkins, salt and pepper shakers.
• Clearing dirty plates, utensils, and glassware from tables as required.
• Carrying dirty tableware to the kitchen area.
• Preparing tables for arriving patrons by wiping up spills on tables and floors, clearing away crumbs on tables and chairs.
• Accommodating arriving guests to see if they would care for water or ask if they want to purchase bottled water
• Delivering food to tables when Servers and Food Runners are busy.
• Responding to patrons' requests and informing management of any complaints.
• Arranging tables and chairs to accommodate larger groups of patrons.
• Ensuring that the server station is adequately stocked with necessary restaurant supplies

Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 21 years of age due to the sale, service, and handling of alcoholic beverages in accordance with state and company policy.
