Job summary

BrewDog is seeking a Server Assistant to join our team in Ohio. You’ll be the first point of contact, helping guests with orders, delivering food and beverages, and keeping the dining area welcoming and spotless.

We value energy, teamwork, and a passion for great beer. You’ll work alongside service staff to ensure guests have an excellent experience across shifts, with opportunities to learn and grow within BrewDog’s vibrant culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 due to sale, service and handling of alcohol.
• Experience in hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Constant communication with servers regarding guests' needs and issues.
• Stocking servers' stations and table supplies.
• Clearing plates and glassware from tables.
• Delivering food to tables when staff are busy.
• Responding to patrons' requests and informing management of complaints.
• Setting up tables for large groups.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Our food is no exception. To successfully deliver our mission to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as we are, we need to tantalize the taste buds in every sense.

Key Skills

Server Assistant Responsibilities include and may be additional to the following:

• Constant communication with Servers in regard to guests needs and issues
• Making sure table caddies are fully stocked with silverware, napkins, salt and pepper shakers.
• Clearing dirty plates, utensils, and glassware from tables as required.
• Carrying dirty tableware to the kitchen area.
• Preparing tables for arriving patrons by wiping up spills on tables and floors, clearing away crumbs on tables and chairs.
• Accommodating arriving guests to see if they would care for water or ask if they want to purchase bottled water
• Delivering food to tables when Servers and Food Runners are busy.
• Responding to patrons' requests and informing management of any complaints.
• Arranging tables and chairs to accommodate larger groups of patrons
• Ensuring that the server station is adequately stocked with necessary restaurant supplies

About You

Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 21 years of age due to the sale, service, and handling of alcoholic beverages in accordance with state and company policy.
