Job summary

Alterra's Stratton Mountain Club is seeking enthusiastic servers to join our food & beverage teams for seasonal, part-time work. You should have experience in upscale service, catering or bartending, with a Vermont DLC and alcohol service certification.

The role pays $8.75 per hour plus tips and requires flexibility for mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Expect to deliver high-quality service, maintain guest rapport, and manage duties with initiative.

Qualifications

• Previous service industry experience.
• Vermont DLC certification.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and walk with at least 40 pounds.
• Certified to serve alcohol in accordance with Vermont liquor laws.
• Organized, multitask and able to make quick independent decisions.

Responsibilities

• Setting up & breaking down prior to & post service.
• Create & maintain positive rapport with everchanging clientele.
• Understand the steps of service in upscale dining.
• Daily close-outs and deposits, as assigned.
• Attend shift in uniform, well groomed, with a positive attitude.
• Proficient knowledge of wine, beer & liquor.
• Handle guest concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Additional duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

Stratton Mountain Club is seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Serversto join our dynamic food & beverage teams. The main goal of these positions is to ensure high quality service and exceed all our customers’ expectations for an efficiently operated event. All applicants should be experienced in the service industry particularly serving guests at upscale restaurants, working catering events or bartending. Fine dining service experience preferred. This is a seasonal part-time role. This role is compensated at $8.75/hr + tips.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
