Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Server to provide attentive and accurate food and beverage service, taking orders, communicating menu details, and delivering dishes in a timely and professional manner. You will help maintain service standards and safety policies while contributing to a positive dining experience.

The role requires at least a High School diploma or equivalent, 21+ years of age, and 2–3 years of high-volume service experience. POS experience and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 2–3 years of high-volume service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver internal and external guest service in accordance with company service standards.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Communicate menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods clearly to guests as needed.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure order accuracy.
• Monitor guest behavior and alert management of intoxicated, unruly, or disruptive guests.
• Enforce minimum age and responsible alcohol service policies at all times.
• Assist with overall dining room operations, including cleaning, bussing, resetting tables, restocking menus, and rolling silverware.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Attend departmental and company meetings as required.
• Perform all job functions in accordance with departmental SOPs.

• At least 2 to 3 years of high-volume service experience preferred
• Ability to maintain HCA identified responsible alcohol and food service certification
• Point of Sale, cash/credit handling experience required
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English
