Job summary

Seacrest Village in Encinitas, CA seeks compassionate dietary support staff to ensure residents receive meals that meet their preferences and dietary rules. You will set up trays and dining tables, follow diet orders, and coordinate with dietitians to maintain safe, nutritious service.

As part of a respectful team, you will document meal preferences, communicate changes, and help create a welcoming dining experience for residents guided by kindness and attentiveness.

Qualifications

• Able to pass pre-employment physical/TB test.
• Obtain fingerprint clearance as required by licensure.
• Food Handlers' certification.
• Knowledge of facility, services, menus (including entrées and their ingredients), kashrut/kosher dietary laws, and policies and procedures.
• Set up trays and dining room tables per guest preferences and diet orders.
• Follow diet rosters and tray tickets for accuracy of therapeutic and texture modified diets, allergies, preferences, dining room, and other special needs.
• Notify diet aide or RDN prior to making any modifications.
• Obtain meal preferences for individuals who have not completed the weekly menu.
