Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Pass pre-employment physical and TB test.
• Fingerprint clearance as required by licensure.
• First Aid certification and Food Handlers' certification.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow care plans and infection control measures.
• Accurate documentation of care in EMR system and reporting changes in resident condition.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living and ensures residents' care needs are met.
• Records care provided in the Matrix Electronic Medical Record System and follows medication administration procedures.
• Responds to medical emergencies, providing basic first aid and following protocol.
• Assists with meal service, monitors food intake, and helps residents during mealtimes.
• Transports residents with appropriate assistance and encourages participation in social activities.
• Reports changes in resident condition to the Assisted Living Director and maintain confidentiality.
• Assists with training new staff, supports resident care plans, and ensures proper safety and infection control measures are followed.
