Job summary

The Higgins Hotel in New Orleans is seeking a friendly Server to join our dining team. You will greet guests, take orders and deliver food and beverages with enthusiasm.

This role emphasizes guest service, teamwork, and accuracy in order handling. Training on TiPS and service standards is provided.

Join Davidson Hospitality Group and contribute to legendary hospitality in a historic property across from the National WWII Museum.

Qualifications

• Food/beverage service worker permit, where applicable.
• TiPS certification required; must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months to one year serving experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.

The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center’s name reflects the contributions of the extraordinary entrepreneur, Andrew Higgins, who designed and built over 20,000 boats in New Orleans that were used in every major amphibious assault of World War II.
