Job summary

Kissel Uptown Oakland is seeking a Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a vibrant Oakland setting. You will greet guests, take orders, serve plates and beverages, and help maintain a spotless service area with energy and a positive attitude.

Ideal candidates will bring strong guest communication skills, knowledge of the menu, and a commitment to accuracy and safety, while adhering to the company playbook and state regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in hospitality or food & beverage service is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests and coworkers professionally.
• Must obtain and maintain any required certifications (e.g., Alcohol Awareness, Food Handler's Card) as per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Guest experience: greet guests, take orders, ensure needs are met from start to finish.
• Menu mastery: know ingredients, dietary needs, daily specials, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Accuracy: deliver food and drinks quickly and accurately.

Education & Experience
