Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lockbourne, OH is seeking a Warehouse Operator for Kitting on the D Shift (Thu–Sun, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM). The role involves loading/unloading freight, performing quality checks, and assembling servers and electronic components using hand and power tools.

You will conduct daily inventory counts, manage replenishment of critical parts, and handle various warehouse tasks in a datacenter setting while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience are required.
• Experience with computers is required.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols is required.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, checking part numbers, quantities and condition.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
• Process return shipments of various electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy.
• Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools.
• Operate straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and 5S standards in the work area.
