Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is hiring a Warehouse Operator for the Kitting B-shift (2PM-10:30PM) at Lockbourne, USA. The role involves assembling and installing servers and components, inventory management, and ensuring safe handling of live electrical equipment in a datacenter environment.

You will load/unload freight, perform quality checks, conduct cycle counts, and operate material handling equipment. 1–3 years of related experience and strong safety awareness are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience is required.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
• Experience with computers is required in this role.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols are required.
• Must be able to pass background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight for accurate part numbers and condition.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts.
• Process return shipments using multiple warehouse management systems.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with high accuracy.
• Populate electronics and install cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools.
• Operate straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and 5S standards in the work area.
• Cross-train in multiple datacenter departments.
