Job summary

The Newberry by Hilton in Bend is seeking a Server to deliver welcoming and seamless dining experiences. You will guide guests through menus, ensure order accuracy, and support a clean, efficient dining room in a fast-paced hotel setting.

We value teamwork, integrity, and a guest-first mindset. Previous food service experience preferred; SafeServ certification is a plus. This on-site role offers growth within Resolute Road Hospitality's growing portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and regulations.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and stand for extended periods.
• Friendly, confident, and polished presence in guest interactions.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Quick thinking and effective problem solving under pressure.
• Proficient with POS systems and cash handling best practices.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, answer questions, and make food or beverage recommendations.
• Take and relay guest orders accurately via the POS system to the kitchen or bar.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and check in regularly to anticipate needs.
• Clear tables and reset dining areas efficiently between guests.
• Assist with basic prep tasks (e.g., coffee brewing, soup ladling) as needed.
• Process guest payments, including cash and credit card transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room and service areas.
• Respond to guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and brand policies.

Your Role
