Job summary

Jabil in Austin, TX is seeking a Server Platform Engineer who will drive end-to-end server and rack-level solutions for multiple customers and manufacturing regions. You will interface with customers, sales, CTO and product engineering to ensure solutions meet performance expectations and enable growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical advisor to lead systems engineering/management, focusing on server solutions.
• Perform system assembly, system-level validation and debug of server platforms for samples and validation.
• Own end-to-end customer escalation management, including triage and root-cause analysis.
• Lead maintenance release activities, including transitions and design updates.
• Engage with customers and partners to understand business needs and demonstrate capabilities.
• Drive pre-sales technical activities to identify and enable new design opportunities.
• Develop and maintain technical relationships with key customer accounts and support growth objectives.
• Ensure timely delivery of development efforts for new and sustaining products.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions with sales/architecture teams.
• Deliver technical presentations, training, and updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Design and develop customer sample systems and transition plans to mass production.
• Provide onsite support and guidance to customers.

Jabil is seeking a Server Platform Engineer who will directly contribute to the transformative growth within our Enterprise and Infrastructure division by applying unique and innovative approaches to solving problems of server solutions for our customers. You willbe responsible forcontributing to the end-to-end definition,developmentand customer sample validation of server and rack level solutions spanning multiple customers and manufacturing regions. What will you do? -

• Ensuretimelyand successful delivery of development efforts for both new andsustainingproducts.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions, partnering closely with sales, architecture, and business unit teams.
• Deliver technical presentations, training, and updates to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Design and develop customer sample systems and define activitiesrequiredto transition solutions to mass production.
• Provide onsite and ongoing customer support, including issue resolution and technical guidance.
• Manage and track firmware, BIOS, and BMC updates throughout the product lifecycle.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and tools to drive innovation and improve solution effectiveness.
• Support global customer engagement, including up to 10%domesticand international travel.

• Expertisewith Linux operating systems, relatedapplicationsand script development
• Ability to travel up to 10% both domestic and international

Hiring Range: $83,400 - $116, 800 – $150,000 USD Annual
