Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is hiring a Server to welcome guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a hotel dining environment. You will maintain service standards, operate the POS system, and support kitchen and dining room teams to ensure a smooth guest experience.
The role requires a positive, guest-focused attitude, ability to work flexible hours including weekends, and prior experience in a full-service restaurant.

The Server sets the tone for Sonesta’s mission of “Wowing” our guests with Amazing Moments. The role’s primary responsibility is to welcome guests, take orders, serve food and beverages items to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner in accordance with quality standards. The Server must maintain supplies and follow established cleanliness and sanitation guidelines.

Work Environment Must be able work in a fast-paced environment. Majority of work takes place indoors. Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures - i.e. kitchens, freezers.
Physical Demands Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Frequent bending, kneeling and reaching. Ability to stand during entire shift.
Expected Hours of Work Must be flexible to work variable days of the week to include weekends and holidays. Must be flexible to work variable shifts (days, nights, overnights). Ten to twelve hour shifts sometimes required.
Education and Experience Two years of experience as a server in full service restaurant preferred - preferably in a fine dining establishment. High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
