Job summary

Vista Senior Living Management is seeking a Part-Time Server to support dining services across our senior living communities. The role focuses on delivering meals, ensuring resident and guest satisfaction, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in the dining area.

The ideal candidate is positive, reliable, and able to work a schedule that includes one day per week (7am–6pm window) and every other weekend. Training and in-service sessions are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or dining settings preferred.
• Ability to follow hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Excellent communication and guest relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Takes food order, presents to kitchen staff and delivers meal to residents and guests in a proper and timely manner.
• Ensures resident guest satisfaction.
• Responds quickly to resident or guest requests.
• Reports any resident comments or concerns to Dining Services Manager immediately. Assists in bussing and resetting tables.
• Assists in room services as needed.
• Completes all side work as assigned.
• Assists in adhering to health codes for food handling.
• Attends in-services and pre-shift meetings.
• Handles china, glassware and equipment safely to minimize breakage.
• Maintains a safe working environment and prevents accidents.
• Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors and co-workers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position: Part-Time Server

Schedule: A day a week (between 7am to 6pm) and every other weekend.

We are looking for a positive and reliable Server who understands how important his/her work is to providing quality care for residents.

Main Responsibilities

• Takes food order, presents to kitchen staff and delivers meal to residents and guests in a proper and timely manner
