True Connection Communities is seeking a Part-Time Server in Shelby Township, MI to deliver a best-in-class dining experience. You will greet guests, take orders, and help ensure timely service.

As the first and last contact with Residents, you will resolve issues and maintain a welcoming dining environment. The role requires physical stamina to lift up to 40 pounds and a focus on attentive, courteous service.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Previous food service experience is preferred.
• Excellent listening skills and detail oriented.
• Able to ask appropriate questions to deliver the best service possible.
• Experience in a hospitality, healthcare or service environment is preferred.

Job Purpose

The Part Time Server role is the most important role in delivering best in class dining experience, as they are the first and last contact with Residents and have the ability to resolve any service issues as they arise. A Server’s responsibility is attending to diners before, during and after their meals by helping them place and receive their orders. They also ensure the timely delivery of food and beverages by checking on their tables periodically throughout the service period.

Working Conditions

The Server works in a dining room and spends most of their shift on their feet. They carry trays of food, dishes, or glassware, which are often heavy. During busy dining periods, the server position are under pressure to serve customers quickly and efficiently.
