Job summary

Vitality Living Lake Forest is hiring a part-time server to provide attentive dining service to residents, ensuring satisfaction and smooth meal service. You will help with meal recording, daily operations, and maintaining dining room cleanliness in a warm community setting.

Successful candidates will follow food safety guidelines, maintain sanitation standards, and work collaboratively with the Culinary Services team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and standards.
• Understanding of food safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Record guest meals and report to the appropriate supervisor.
• Assist in prep and daily operations and maintain dining room cleanliness.
• Adhere to community infection control policies.

Server Responsibilities:

• Serve delicious meals and ensure resident satisfaction
• Record guest meals and report to Business Office Director
• Recognize needs of the department and report concerns to the Culinary Services Director
• Assist in preparations for special meals and parties, as well as daily operations and cleaning of the dining room and server areas
• Ensure adherence to procedures regarding community infection control policies
• Perform other duties as assigned by Culinary Services, Sous Chef, or Cook(s)

• Ability to demonstrate adherence to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service; including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

• Ability to have awareness of team dynamic, inventory, safety and cleanliness
