Job summary

Clarendale of Mokena in Mokena, IL is seeking a Part-Time dishwasher to join our friendly team serving seniors. You will help maintain a clean kitchen, set tables, take and deliver items, and assist with dishwashing while upholding hygiene standards.

Ideal candidates have some food service experience, a servant’s heart, and availability every other weekend. Starting pay is $16.00/hour with benefits such as health and vision insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required.
• Experience in food service work preferred.
• Experience in working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Set tables and maintain work stations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service, assist with dish washing, and reset tables.
• Serve residents using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
• Knowledge of diets provided and served correctly per Policy and Procedure.
• Represent community in a warm and inviting manner, which creates a positive marketing environment.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
