Job summary

True Connection Communities is seeking a Part Time Server to join our senior living community team in Pennsylvania. As the first and last contact with residents, you will help guests place orders and ensure timely delivery of meals, contributing to a warm, welcoming dining experience.

You will greet customers, answer questions about menu items, and support a smooth service flow. The role requires listening skills, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds; it is an on-site position

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Experience in hospitality, healthcare or service environment preferred.
• Excellent listening skills and detail oriented.
• Able to lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers.

• Relays customers’ orders to other kitchen staff.
• Serves food and drinks to customers.

• Stocks service stations, cabinets, and tables.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Part Time Server role is the most important role in delivering best in class dining experience, as they are the first and last contact with Residents and have the ability to resolve any service issues as they arise. A Server’s responsibility is attending to diners before, during and after their meals by helping them place and receive their orders. They also ensure the timely delivery of food and beverages by checking on their tables periodically throughout the service period.
