Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a part-time Server for our community restaurant in Affton, MO. You will welcome residents, guide them to tables, present menus, and help select dishes and drinks, creating a dining experience that feels like their favorite local restaurant.

You will operate the state-of-the-art POS system, relay guest orders accurately, and perform opening and closing duties to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Must have a Food Handler’s Card or be willing to obtain one.
• Strong customer service presentation.
• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for residents.
• If under 18, provide proper schoolwork authorization.

Schedule: Part Time. 3:30pm-7pm and 6am-2:30pm. Varied weekdays and every other weekend. As a Server in our community restaurant, YOU ... help create an incredible dining experience; build relationships with residents; and consistently deliver the service a guest would expect in their favorite restaurant. Their satisfaction starts with YOU!

• As a Server, you will direct residents to their tables, present menus, suggest dishes and assist in drink selection


• Communicate specific resident orders, utilizing our state-of-the-art point of sale system


• Complete all dining room opening and closing duties as established by your community

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents


• If under the age of 18 must provide proper schoolwork authorization (if applicable)


• Server, must currently hold a Food Handler’s Card, or be willing to obtain one facilitated by Spectrum, as required by state and/or county regulations


• It is required for a Server to have strong customer service presentation
