Server/Network Administrator
This team member will provide expertise in a windows server environment and will be responsible for securing the UA’s network and ensuring optimal connectivity for our end‑users to accomplish their daily activities. This position will report to the Director, Advancement Network/Computing as a member of UA’s Network and Computing team. The administrator will share responsibility for assisting all end‑users with their questions or problems about how supported software interacts with UA’s network platform: 40% Server Administration – installing, patching network and server hardware, monitoring UA systems and maintaining UA’s disaster recovery; 15% Network Administration – maintaining UA’s VLans, adjusting firewall, and requesting firewall changes from ITServices; 25% Application Administration – serving as the lead administrator for our Microsoft and TeamDynamix environment, creating software installation packages; 10% Providing top‑tier support for UA’s systems; and 10% Maintaining UA’s disaster recovery system, performing backups and restores.

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four‑year college degree; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in deploying, maintaining and supporting Windows‑Based Servers and systems; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
