MSU Careers Recent Jobs is seeking an Application Administrator to manage and support applications for the Division of Residential and Hospitality Services. This role involves serving as the lead administrator for key systems, including Transact and Sequoia, while providing technical and analytical support.
The ideal candidate will possess a four-year college degree and have 3-5 years of relevant IT experience. The position starts on-site with a transition to a hybrid work model post-onboarding, offering flexibility as mutually agreed.
Application Administrator
The Application Administration team provides technical and administrative support for departmental and enterprise applications for the Division of Residential and Hospitality Services at MSU. This position is part of a hybrid work team and will start fully on‑site and transition to hybrid after on‑boarding and a probationary time period.
Reporting to the Application Administration team manager, the Application Administrator will primarily perform the following duties:

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four‑year college degree program; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in an information technology area related to the duties to be performed; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to complete tasks on a timeline; experience with project management processes; exceptional customer service values and skills; experience working with vendors; experience managing systems in a complex environment; experience with database management and enterprise data management; experience with campus accounting software (KFS); demonstrate ability to achieve high proficiency with exposure and training on Transact, Sequoia & StarRez applications.
