Job summary

CSAT Solutions is seeking a Server Material Handler in Houston to receive, ship, and manage materials, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and process compliance. Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least 2 years in material handling, basic computer skills, and good English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in material handling preferred.
• Able to utilize manual moving equipment including pallet jacks and carts.
• Basic familiarity with computer use.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision.
• Intermediate English abilities required.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Receives and ships materials, including packaging, labeling and staging.
• Verifies quantities of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Loads and unloads material.
• Gathers parts/product/materials for issue or distribution to shipping or other cross-functional departments.
• Must be able to lift and handle an 80 lbs AI server with assistance.
• Completes necessary paperwork accurately.
• Performs housekeeping duties to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assists with the transaction of materials in shop floor system.
• Meets ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department.
• May conduct visual mechanical inspection for cosmetic issues.
• May use isopropyl alcohol or similar substances to clean products.
• May perform data entry and filing.

CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Server Material Handler.

Role and Responsibilities

• Receives and/or ships materials to include packaging, labeling and staging
• Verifies quantities of incoming and outgoing materials
• Loads and unloads material
• Gathers parts/product/materials for issue or distribution to shipping or other cross-functional departments
• Needs to be able to lift and handle an 80 lbs AI server with another team member assisting.
• Completes necessary paperwork accurately
• Performs housekeeping duties; such as cleaning, sweeping and organizing materials to maintain a safe working environment
• Assists with the transaction of materials in shop floor system
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
• May conduct visual mechanical inspection to identify cosmetic issues
• May use isopropyl alcohol or similar substances to clean products
• May perform some data entry and filing
• May perform other duties as assigned

Education, Training and Skills

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions

• Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
• Frequent standing, walking, sitting and twisting
• Occasional stooping, crouching, or crawling
• Stand/walk for 8 hours
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and crouching
