Job summary

Loews Nashville Hotel is seeking a friendly Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional table service, anticipate guest needs, and create a warm dining experience.

You will greet guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure satisfaction while contributing to a positive team atmosphere and smooth service flow.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40-50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to obtain a valid TABC permit.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and present menus with confidence.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, including dietary preferences.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring quality and presentation.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain thorough menu knowledge to offer recommendations.
• Communicate guest needs or special requests to the kitchen or bar.
• Keep tables and surrounding areas clean, tidy, and stocked.
• Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties.
• Support team members to ensure timely and coordinated service.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
