Job summary

LUCY'S #7 BURGER BAR in Beloit, WI is seeking a friendly Server to deliver excellent guest service in a welcoming, fast-paced environment.

You will take orders, assist with seating, maintain cleanliness, process payments, and help create a warm, memorable dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, count change).
• Legible handwriting and strong customer service and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Take customers' food and beverage orders.
• Assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate parties.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in restaurant, wait-station and kitchen service area to ensure a clean, presentable facility and comply with health requirements.
• Receive payment from guests and ensure accuracy of guest checks.
• Respond to customer inquiries with timely, knowledgeable information to provide quality service.
• Present a clean and professional appearance at all times.
• Create a fun and memorable experience for guests by maintaining a positive attitude.

YOUR ROLE IN CREATING GERONIMOMENTS

In this role, you’ll be a key part of our team, ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Your voice matters here—use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience.

As a Server, you will serve customers and extend great customer service by providing information to help with food and beverage selections, presenting order choices, and maintaining a great dining experience by promoting a warm and friendly atmosphere.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

• Take customers' food and beverage orders
• Assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate parties
• Maintain cleanliness standards in restaurant, wait-station and kitchen service area in order to have a clean, presentable and attractive facility and to satisfy state and local health board requirements
• Receive proper payment from guest and ensures accuracy of guest check and method of payment in order to safeguard customer and company
• Respond to customer inquiries and comments in person and on phone by providing timely and knowledgeable information in order to provide quality customer service
• Present a clean and professional appearance at all times
• Have fun at work; leave baggage at the door; come to work with a positive attitude ready and willing to help create a fun and memorable experience for our guests

REQUIREMENTS

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
• You have basic math skills (able to add, subtract, and count change back to customer)
• You have legible handwriting, strong customer service and verbal communication skills

YOU'LL STAND OUT IF YOU BRING

• You have one year server experience
• MICROS and Square POS Systems

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT

• U.S. Work Authorization (required).
