Kohler Co. - Lodge Kohler is hiring a part-time server for on-site roles in Green Bay, WI. You will greet guests, take orders, upsell items, and ensure a high standard of hospitality and accuracy in POS transactions.

Must be 18+, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and prepared to work weekdays and weekends. Safe Serve preferred; Packers Game Day availability required. Compensation is hourly with tips, ranging from $4.50 to $6.70 per hour plus gratuities.

Responsibilities

• Inform guests about daily specials and menu changes.
• Upsell food and beverages to guests.
• Take orders and enter into the POS system accurately.
• Greet guests and present menus.
• Process payments and manage transactions.
• Clear and reset tables and linens as needed.
• Maintain dining area and assist with basic cleaning.
• Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
• Serve food and beverages as ordered and ensure guest satisfaction.

Opportunity

Specific Responsibilities:

• Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any
• Suggest food and beverages to the guest utilizing appropriate methods to upsell
• Take food and beverage orders from the guest and accurately enter into Point of sale (POS) system
• Greets guests and presents them with the menu when applicable
• Process payment transactions
• Clear and reset table settings and linens, as needed
• Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
• Communicate to the guest and provide assistance with questions
• Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction
• Serve food and beverage per the course of order
• Observes guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service
• Promptly respond to guest with any additional request
• Maintain proper dining experience; delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses
• Prepare mixed drinks for service to your customers table when applicable (must be 18 or over and licensed)
• Understand and can communicate products and services available at the resort
• Assist with stocking and maintaining the restaurant par stock levels and side station
• Help other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and seating guests

This is a part-time position working weekdays & weekends. Hours vary between 10:00am-10:00pm.

Skills/Requirements

• Must have the ability to walk or stand for the majority of the shift and lift up to 50 pounds
• Candidate must be 18 years old
• Must maintain a working knowledge of department standards and policies
• Safe Serve Certification preferred
• Prior serving experience preferred
• Packers Game Day availability required.

The hourly range for this position is $4.50 - $6.70 plus tips/gratuity. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
