Recess Hotels is seeking a hospitality-driven Server for Kilter Rooftop at our Savannah property. You will provide warm, personalized service to hotel guests and club members, while building knowledge of the menu and beverage program.

Join a fast-paced, outdoor setting and collaborate with bartenders and team members to deliver exceptional experiences. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and events is required, with opportunities to grow within the brand.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience required; upscale restaurant, hotel, club, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Wine, beer, and cocktail knowledge preferred.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures preferred.

About The Role

Kilter Rooftop at Recess Hotel & Club is seeking enthusiastic, hospitality‑driven Servers to join our team. Designed exclusively for hotel guests and club members, Kilter offers elevated dining, craft cocktails, and memorable experiences in a lively rooftop setting. As a Server, you will play a key role in creating exceptional experiences through attentive service, genuine guest engagement, and a strong understanding of our food and beverage offerings.

What You’ll Do

• Provide warm, attentive, and personalized service to hotel guests and club members throughout their dining experience
• Develop a thorough knowledge of Kilter's food menu, beverage program, seasonal offerings, and special features
• Guide guests through menu selections and make thoughtful recommendations based on individual preferences
• Accurately enter orders and process transactions using the point‑of‑sale system
• Deliver food and beverages in accordance with established service standards
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout service, anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests
• Collaborate with bartenders, food runners, culinary team members, and leadership to ensure seamless service execution
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections and service areas
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
• Assist with rooftop events, member programming, and special activations as needed
• Build relationships with returning guests and club members through genuine hospitality and personalized service
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
• Support a positive and professional team environment while contributing to operational excellence
