Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming guests at assigned tables.
• Assisting guests with their orders.
• Announcing current menu items and daily specials, and fully explaining menu items and ingredients.
• Promptly serving food while ensuring quality and accuracy of orders.
• Attending to guests throughout their dining experience.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant area.
• Delivering bill requests.
• Ensuring proper methods of payment from guests.
• Performing other tasks as assigned.
• Performing all duties in accordance with Chatham Bars Inn Standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience (fine dining service preferred).
• Availability to work through the fall preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work long hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Well groomed appearance.
• Superior organizational skills.
• Aptitude for working well in a team setting.
• Enjoys a fast‑paced environment.
• Follows direction well.
• Ability to be flexible with schedules and hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable with cleaning chemicals/products.
• Current TIPS Alcohol Certification or comparable alcohol service certification.

Compensation

$6.75 / hr + tips
