BENCHMARK is seeking a Host/Hostess for Chatham Bars Inn, a Forbes Five-Star resort in Chatham, Massachusetts. Your primary responsibilities include greeting guests, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring a clean and orderly menu presentation.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, be highly organized, and demonstrate flexibility in schedule availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Position Summary

Host/Hostess at Chatham Bars Inn, a Forbes Five‑Star resort located in Chatham, Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and patrons personally and by telephone.
• Offer appropriate seating arrangements.
• Present menus and ensure they are clean, orderly, and appropriate for the meal service.
• Maintain an adequate quantity of menus to cater to the number of guests.
• Assist in setting up dining rooms and make reservation arrangements as necessary.
• Keep tables and work area clean and organized.
• Assist Restaurant Managers with other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Being flexible and motivated.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work early morning or evening shifts, weekends and holidays.

Compensation

$17.26 - $17.26 per hour.
