Job summary

The Overlook is seeking a Server to provide gracious and efficient service to residents and guests, wearing one of several hats on shift as assigned by supervisors. This role may involve duties as a Busser, Food Runner, Serving Tables, or Dishwasher depending on the shift needs.

The Server will perform established Steps of Service, manage time for quick table turnover, adhere to HACCP sanitation guidelines, and operate the cash register and POS software to complete orders accurately.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of table service and order taking - preferred.
• High school diploma or GED - preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Server is responsible for performing established Steps of Service to ensure that each resident and guest receives both gracious and efficient service. The Server may hold one of four different hats of responsibility, on different shifts as assigned by their supervisor, when on shift on different shifts as assigned by their supervisor: Busser, Food Runner, Serving Tables, or Dishwasher.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
