Grand Hyatt DFW at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport seeks a meticulous In-Room Dining Server. You will deliver meals to guest rooms with professional courtesy, handle order accuracy, dietary needs, and timeliness while upholding luxury service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hotel, in-room dining, banquet, catering, or food and beverage experience preferred.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to provide professional and discreet service in a guest room environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders and priorities.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently while remaining connected to the broader hotel team.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service, menu items, and basic wine and beverage service preferred.
• Ability to accurately use point-of-sale systems and follow payment procedures.
• Food handler certification or ability to obtain required certification, if applicable.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and business-demand periods. The primary shift will be PM.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
• Review each order for accuracy, presentation, special requests, dietary restrictions, and required condiments or amenities before delivery.
• Set up and present meals according to hotel standards, including proper trays, carts, linens, silverware, glassware, condiments, and other service items.
• Explain menu items, presentation, and any relevant food or beverage details when appropriate.
• Provide attentive and discreet service while respecting guest privacy and the hotel’s luxury service standards.
• Confirm guest satisfaction and respond to reasonable service requests during delivery.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the In-Room Dining menu, restaurant offerings, beverages, ingredients, allergens, and hotel amenities.
• Process guest checks accurately and follow established payment, room charge, cash handling, and POS procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of in-room dining carts, trays, service equipment, staging areas, and assigned workspaces.
• Retrieve trays, carts, and service equipment from guest rooms and designated collection areas in a timely manner.
• Monitor order flow and communicate delays, missing items, special requests, or guest concerns to the appropriate team.
• Work closely with culinary colleagues to ensure order accuracy, timing, presentation, and special requests are executed properly.
• Partner with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other hotel departments to support guest needs and resolve service issues.
• Assist with opening, closing, side work, restocking, cleaning, and preparation of the in-room dining operation.
• Maintain appropriate sanitation and food handling practices at all times.
• Follow hotel safety, security, guest privacy, and service standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout the shift.
• Perform other Food & Beverage and guest service duties as assigned.

In-Room Dining plays an important role in the overall guest experience by providing convenient, personalized food and beverage service directly to the guest’s room.
